Due to an increasing portfolio Hazid Technologies, based in Nottingham, are looking for a confident and outgoing individual to support its customers in the implementation, configuration and training of its next generation process design software.
Hazid Technologies are the developers and suppliers of game changing solutions for the international process engineering community. Using the latest engineering design tools and philosophies you will be responsible for maintaining relations between the customer and the organization for all application/engineering matters.
Reporting to the Technology Director you will be involved throughout the entire interaction with the customer to explain Hazid’s solution and its fit to their needs, develop strategies to enable them to make better use of their engineering data and be instrumental in successful deployment of a solution at the customer site.
Your other responsibilities will include:
Developing product demonstrations and application examples for pre-sales activities.
Maintaining and developing company knowledgebases using sound engineering judgement applied to the fields of Process Safety and Engineering Design Integrity.
Being an expert in all Hazid's products and its integration with third party tools such as those from Intergraph, Autodesk, Aveva and Siemens.
Providing high quality, timely and thorough customer support, analysing customer problems to determine and implement best solutions.
Translating customer requirements into system solutions and provide timely feedback to Marketing and Product Engineering as input for new product or feature development.
Participating in testing and validation of products, including software prior to market release.
Producing and updating customer facing documentation.
Performing benchmark research to determine a product's ability to solve specific customer problems.
Representing the company at industry tradeshows/conferences.
You will be:
Knowledgeable of process engineering and design practice and be able to communicate these effectively.
Able to read a P&ID document and understand the design intent clearly.
Knowledgeable of networked applications in a CAE environment.
A strong problem solver.
Able to think logically when under pressure and to remain poised, patient and calm in stressful situations.
A strong communicator with excellent verbal and written skills as well as outstanding listening skills.
Able to travel on short notice.
Qualified in a relevant Engineering discipline.
Entitled to live and work in the U.K.
